India has formally accused Pakistan of involvement in the recent Pahalgam terror attack, presenting what it describes as “credible evidence” to the international community. Officials confirmed that technical intelligence, eyewitness accounts, and electronic data directly tie the attack to Pakistan-based operatives.
Over the past 72 hours, India shared detailed findings with global allies, identifying terrorists behind the assault and tracing their origins to Pakistan. Investigations revealed electronic footprints of the Pakistan-backed group, The Resistance Front (TRF)—an offshoot of Lashkar-e-Taiba—at two locations in Pakistan. Eyewitnesses corroborated the infiltration of militants from across the border weeks prior to the attack.
The assault in Pahalgam, which killed 26 and injured 17, was initially claimed by TRF. However, the group later retracted its statement, denying involvement. Pakistan’s government has repeatedly rejected India’s allegations, calling them “baseless.”
In response to the attack, multiple nations issued travel advisories urging citizens to avoid Jammu and Kashmir. Meanwhile, India launched a large-scale military operation, demolishing properties linked to local militants, detaining over 200 suspects, and tightening border security. Prime Minister Narendra Modi vowed, “India will hunt down every terrorist involved. No one will be spared.”
The developments escalate tensions in the region, with India pressing for international accountability and Pakistan dismissing the claims as politically motivated.
