Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, the youngest daughter of President Asif Ali Zardari, is getting into politics by running for election in Nawabshah. This comes after her father became President, leaving his seat vacant. Aseefa will officially enter the political scene by submitting her nomination papers for the election. Politics runs deep in Aseefa’s family, with both of her parents having served as Prime Ministers of Pakistan. She is also set to become the first lady of Pakistan since her father is now President. Usually, this role goes to the president’s spouse, but since her father is a widower, Aseefa will take on this role, making history in the process.
